Oh, Nicky, You're So Fine
There's nothing wrong with Nicky Hilton.But it sure didn't sound like that just minutes ago as I read a press release about her canceled Fashion Week Miami appearance.Hilton was supposed to stage a runway show of her fashion line this coming Saturday night, but the release from a Fashion Week rep said she had to pull out because of a "personal emergency that she has to handle."

So, what's going on with the hotel heiress? Nothing, except she's just really busy, says a rep for Hilton."There is no personal issue," her rep just told me. "She is fine."

So, why the last minute cancellation? Hilton's rep blamed the snafu on "a scheduling conflict" because she had "overextended herself."

The rep says the show has already been rescheduled for May.

This Just In: Jessica and John's Hollywood Night
Jessica Simpson and John Mayer continued their love tour yesterday with a late-night bite at Hollywood hot spot Citizen Smith.

Along with a group of about a dozen friends, Simpson and Mayer gobbled up mac & cheese, Buffalo Smith wings and a frozen hot chocolate.

And yes, my spies report that the lovebirds were "very into each other" for the entire couple of hours that they were there.

Paulina's Night of Lipstick Lovin'
Paulina Rubio is a hot little thang. The Latina superstar singer didn't let the yucky wet weather in Los Angeles last night dampen her spirits when she hit the M.A.C store on Robertson to launch her new Rubia lipstick. Wearing a tiny English Clientele by Mike Sam dress, she practically skipped through the store, vamping it up and continually reapplying her lipstick.

M.A.C knows how to fill a party with pretty people. The dozen or so male cocktail waiters were straight out of central casting young, chiseled and hot. I'm told most of them-if not all-were hires from beautifulbartenders.com, an agency that provides, well, stunning-looking help.

But Rubio had eyes for only one man in the room-her fiancé, Nicolás Vallejo-Nájera. I'm told they're getting married in about a month and a half, but Rubio hasn't even picked out her dress yet. In fact, she's been so busy with work-she's currently on tour-that yesterday was the only time M.A.C could snag her for a couple of hours.

"I'll be dressed totally in white," she recently told People en Español of her wedding gown. "I want a very simple design, because that day I want to shine more than the dress. I'll have a few dresses ready, and I won't decide which one I'll wear until the last minute.”

M.A.C, of course, will be providing her makeup.
