Former soap actress Michelle Collins has agreed to feature alongside David Tennant in the hit sci fi show Doctor Who.The Beeb series - which gave a huge boost to Billie Piper's career - will have Michelle playing the character of McConnell, "a tough woman fighting for her life in the far future".Other famous faces to have starred in guest roles are Sir Derek Jacobi, Coronation Street actress Thelma Barlow and Father Ted's Ardal O'Hanlon.Michelle was an Albert Square local for nine years, starring as the conniving Cindy Beale who cheated on partner Ian, before trying to have him shot dead.We can't wait!
