Sex in Court is a frank, funny and highly original factual entertainment series, examining bedroom politics within modern relationships.
Each late-night show will see two couples taking each other ‘to court’ over a sexual dispute. Alleged sex crimes shown during the series range from excessive use of sex toys, lack of foreplay, refusal to initiate sex and unwillingness to experiment. In a formal, court-like atmosphere, complete with stenographer and clerk, each party will be thoroughly cross-examined by our strict and unshockable ‘judge’ (portrayed by real life barrister Christina Gorna). The accused will be tried by a 12-strong, gender-split jury, made up of ordinary members of the public who must see sexual justice served. Sexual and medical experts will also give evidence in the court, providing background to each of the problems. Like any real court, the Sex in Court jury must reach a verdict before a sentence is issued by the judge. The first show features mother of two Rachel, who brings her husband Guy to court over a clash of lovemaking styles. The second case, Joanna and Ashley, sees Ashley charged with filming a filthy flick of the two of them having sex on his mobile phone and then showing it to his friends, all without her consent. Veteran sex guru Dr David Delvin is also featured on the show providing expert witness advice. Just how will the jury react when they hear the evidence of both cases - and what will be the Sex in Court judge’s final verdict?
