As Comic Relief Does The Apprentice10 celebrities. 1 Sir Alan. Lots of fun.TX: Thursday 15th & Friday 16th March on Comic Relief – The Big One on BBC ONEGet set for sparks to fly as multi-millionaire and boss of Amstrad Sir Alan Sugar brings his abrasive business style to Comic Relief in Comic Relief Does The Apprentice. In another Comic Relief TV first, ten top celebrity candidates will battle to build businesses that must raise as much money as possible for the charity. Over three gruelling days these high profile stars will toil in two teams under the watchful eyes of Sir Alan's trusted sidekicks, Nick Hewer and Margaret Mountford. The Boys Team: Alastair Campbell, Piers Morgan, Ross Kemp, Rupert Everett and Danny Baker. The Girls Team: Cheryl Cole, Jo Brand, Maureen Lipman, Trinny Woodall and Karren Brady (Manager of Birmingham FC). On Thursday 15th March, viewers will witness an hour of antics whilst the two teams battle it out to be the winning team. Sir Alan sets a tough, hands-on task that sees the teams using all their skill and stamina to run rival attractions at a packed ticket-only celebrity funfair on London’s South Bank. The competition is tough and the teams will have to use every trick in the book to win the challenge; calling on their celebrity friends to muck in and help squeeze every pound they can out of the big spenders on the night.

With some of Britain’s wealthiest businessmen, footballers and MPs in attendance including Simon Cowell, Chris Evans, Stuart Rose, Ashley Cole and Tessa Jowell, the teams are determined to get them reaching for their cheque books no matter what it takes.

Having Take That man the dodgems and celebrity chef Anthony Worrall Thompson serving up gourmet food may seem like a stroke of genius from the girls. But the boys have got their secret weapon: the stocks – and there’s a queue already building, each person willing to pay thousands of pounds to soak Piers Morgan and Alastair Campbell.

Expect tantrums, tears and sweat from the off as the teams are pushed to their absolute limits all in the name of charity.

Following the task the teams will be summoned to Sir Alan's infamous boardroom to defend their performances. Whatever the outcome, one team wins and one team loses. In the losing team, a celebrity is going to suffer the humiliation of getting fired by TV’s most belligerent man Sir Alan Sugar. The name of the ‘fired’ celebrity and the total amount raised by the two teams will be revealed in a final showdown with Sir Alan Sugar on Comic Relief’s big night of TV on 16th March.
