On the Halloween Celebrity Scissorhands yesterday (31Oct2007) the team brought, drama, blood and gore to suit the scary theme.Steve Strange, the academy’s assistant manager didn’t have a trouble free day, Inflicting pain and yet another scary haircut on his client, arguing with Lee and threatening to leave the show.Dee was Steve’s client and after starting the haircut wasn’t in the best of moods. Also complaining to Lee about a runny nose and streaming eyes. “What, are you going home because your eyes are watering a little bit?” Mocked Lee. Lee armed Steve with goggles and a protective face mask at which Steve said “Don’t make me look like a f**king idiot”. I’m trying to help your allergy…Just see if it helps you fu**King lunatic,” Lee replied. An already hair-raising new do for Dee suffered a blow when Steve cut her ear, spurting blood and resulting in her needing first aid attention. Steve quickly spoke to Lee again, blaming the steam in his goggles for the bloody blunder. ‘Stop being such a drama queen’ repeated Lee ‘F**k off Lee’ replied Steve ‘You’re meant to be an Assistant Manager’ ‘I don’t give a f**k Lee….if you carry on I’ll walk out of the academy now’. Once he’d calmed down, Steve reluctantly returned to the scene of the bloodshed to finish his already awful haircut. ‘Don’t burn the lady as well as cut her’ Lee commented, just as Steve burnt his client’s eye with the straighteners. After she received medical attention yet again, Steve completed her haircut without the use of clippers, but did manage to replicate the ‘shaved’ look in the back of her head. ‘I’m sorry you look like you’ve been savaged by a pack of wolves’ were Lee’s parting words. Downbeat, Steve left the academy early to get his allergy checked out by a doctor. Could Steve and Lee’s Laurel and Hardy partnership be under threat?
