'Celebrity Big Brother' 2006 - featuring George Galloway's impersonation of a cat - has been nominated for a BAFTA. Controversial MP George pranced around on all fours and pretended to lap cream from fellow contestant Rula Lenska's hands in his impression of a cat last year - and his actions have helped earn the show a BAFTA Pioneer Audience Award. Despite the latest 'Celebrity Big Brother' series sparking international outrage following the racist bullying row involving Jade Goody and Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, the previous series could win the top TV prize if voted for by the British public.Audiences are being invited to log on to the awards' website and vote for shows that helped define TV last year by winning critical approval and capturing public imagination.'Celebrity Big Brother' will be up against five other programmes - 'Life on Mars', 'Planet Earth', 'Dragons' Den', 'The Vicar of Dibley' two-part Christmas special, and 'The Royle family - The Queen of Sheba'. The award is the only BAFTA which will be decided by public vote. After the original nominations were suggested by viewers, the final shortlist was whittled down by a jury.
