Ric talks Michael through his concerns about helping Michelle, wanting reassurance about his decision. Michael tells Ric you should never trust a junkie. Michael just wants to know Ric is doing the right thing and not just doing this out of guilt about what happened with Leo.
Linden makes a call to Adrian to explain that Callie has woken up. Adrian arrives but Linden notices that everything doesn’t seem right- Adrian looks more up set than he did before. Linden asks if he would like to see Callie. He is unsure, Linden looks surprised- why doesn’t he want to see his wife? Adrian explains that so much has changed he doesn’t know if he can face her. Linden doesn’t his best to change his mind. Adrian finally comes around when the children want to see Callie.
Meanwhile in the meeting with social services Ric stands up and vouches for Michelle - she really wants to change – she’s dedicated to her drug programme and she’s dedicated to her son. Social Services don’t look completely convinced. Ric explains that he is going to personally oversee Michelle’s rehabilitation and will be there to help her look after her son. Social Services agree that Michelle can keep her son. Michelle brings her son into the hospital to see Rich and he meets his grandson for the first time.
