The Vampire Diaries is BACK!
The new series is said to bring even more epic romance’s and plenty of breathtaking suspense! Season 3 kicks off on Friday 15th September in USA and only 1 day later UK fans are able to download the episode from iTunes just ahead of its return to ITV2.
Season 2 saw the return of the bitter Katherine Pierce (Nina Dobrev) who caused mayhem in the town of Mystic Falls, including stiring things in the love triangle between Stefan (Paul Wesley), her innocent doppelganger Elena Gilbert (dobrev) and Stefan's older brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder). Other residents in Mystic Falls found themselves choosing or being forced into sides as the evil Katherine plotted. Later in the series Stefan and Damon were met by two more twisted enemies and also their toughest challenge yet the arrival or Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) two of the Original vampires.
With season 2 leaving us in such suspense Season 3 opens so many more doors allowing us to learn more about Klaus and the other original vampires, also more importantly what he wants with Stefan and why it is so essential that Stefan is on his side. With Stefan getting deeper and deeper into the dark side, Damon and Elena need to do all they can to get him back from the edge this leads to a growing bond between them and we see how they cope with the guilt from their growing connection.
Don’t forget the new season of The Vampire Diaries Season 3 starts Autumn 2011 on ITV2 and if you cannot wait that long you can download exclusively on iTunes on the 16th September with a new episode able to download each following week.
