It's been many, many years since WWE brought a pay-per-view event to the UK, with perhaps the most memorable taking place all the way back in 1992. That was SummerSlam, held at Wembley Stadium in London with Bret Hart vs The British Bulldog as the main event. Could a PPV come to the UK again, in the present day?
Speaking to The Sun, Ziggler said of the chances: "I think we are getting closer. The audience is so huge, great and loyal and we as performers think they have gone above and beyond to deserve it. I'm sure at some point it will be in the works, and it will be one of the greatest crowd responses we have ever had."
Ziggler of course isn't the first WWE Superstar to voice his opinion on the matter, with fan favourite John Cena calling for a UK pay-per-view during an episode of Monday Night Raw last year.
Would you like to see a WWE pay-per-view make its way to the UK?
Monday Night Raw continues tonight on Sky Sports and you can catch up with the new Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on the WWE Network.
