Danny Dyer has been in BBC soap EastEnders for the best part of nine months now, and his character Mick Carter continues to go from strength to strength.
So it was no surprise to us when we heard that he'd won the Best Actor gong at last night's TVChoice Awards, and we've compiled a list of just 5 of the moments that prove he fully deserves the accolade.
1) When he introduced the world to his daughter Nancy, after 'kidnapping' her and making sure she didn't get married to a man who just wasn't right for her.
2) The moment that his on-screen son Johnny came out as gay to him, saw a testing scene that was performed beautifully.
3) Tackling his fear of water, Mick took part in a charity swim despite almost drowning as a youngster.
4) Defending Ian who is already going through so much with the murder investigation surrounding his daughter's death, Mick took it upon himself to plead guilty for curb crawling in scenes that have had a big effect on his family life.
5) Defending Shirley - a woman who he believes to be his sister but is actually his mother - he made sure Dean(o) was put in his place with a swift punch.
EastEnders continues tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
