To reach this milestone, the Dynamic Duo called on Strictly Come Dancing stars, Alison Hammond and Aljaz Skorjanec, to encourage members of the public to support Peugeot with its superhero fundraising challenges.

After Alison's departure from Strictly, she reflects in this interview on her time with the show and turns her focus to her fundraising efforts for BBC Children In Need, by supporting Peugeot's £1M fundraising target, ahead of the live show this Friday.

You did a fantastic job on strictly, what was the most motivating thing about it?

The most motivating thing for me was when I got lovely letters, tweets and messages saying 'You are inspiring me to dance' or 'You have made me want to get back into dancing again' from people who may have stopped. The best was when people are saying that they only watch Strictly to watch me, and that makes me think 'Gosh I must keep going' and really motivates me.

Did you have a favourite routine?

Cha Cha - my first week I absolutely loved it. I found the routine easy to learn and it was a dream to perform it

What was Aljaz like as a trainer?

Aljaz is so much fun, quite laid back and really cool. He knows exactly what he wants to do and how he sees me doing the dance for that week. He's really focused, yet quite chilled out

Fundraising

Peugeot has set up five superhero challenges to help raise money for Children in Need: skydive, abseil, Paris to Coventry cycle, an outdoor swim - what would be your ideal fundraising challenge?

I would probably go for the Baking challenges, I love watching 'The Great British Bake off' and I really love baking!

What advice would you give people taking on these challenges?

I would just say try and get as many sponsorships as you can, see it as a personal challenge to yourself which is going to change your life and raise as much money as you can because we want to get to the Million Pound milestone this year.

What would you say to people to encourage them to raise money for Children in Need?

It is a worthy cause and its fantastic. Get out there and raise some money!

What would be your ideal way to raise money for Children in Need?

I would do a sponsored silence because I would really struggle with that and it would be a great challenge! I think I would get quite a lot of people sponsoring me seeing as I don't shut up!

What would be the worst/most outrageous thing someone could ask you to do to raise money for Children in Need?

Skydiving - it would frighten me and I don't think I could it if I'm being honest!

Dynamic Duo / Superhero car

You took part in a photo shoot for the Dynamic Duo, Peugeot and BBC Children In Need. What did you think of your Peugeot RCZ 'Superhero car' - is it fit for a real superhero?

I loved that car! It was very roomy for the fuller figure! I thought it was a very cool car.

If you had a superhero car, what features would you want it to have?

My superhero car would be able to disappear, so that when I was ready I could go off on holiday and no-one would know about it

Superheroes

If you could chose to be any superhero from your childhood favourites, who would it be, and why?

Wonder Woman! She is wonderful and I love her outfit!

If you could create a new superhero, who would it be, what powers would you have and why?

Invisible Woman - she obviously would be invisible. I could sneak around and watch A-list celebs and see what they really get up to in their spare time!

What do you think would be the best thing about being a superhero?

The best thing would be having 'Super' as part of your name and having people look up to you.
