The comic has been asked to portray the 'Britain's Got Talent' star in a new biopic about her rise to fame.
The 57-year-old actor - who donned a dress for 1993 blockbuster 'Mrs. Doubtfire' - revealed: "I've been asked if I want to play Susan in the movie.
"I think she's incredible. That clip of her singing on 'Britain's Got Talent' was extraordinary. So inspiring. It was quite a shock when she began to sing.
"I saw some other clip of her singing 'Cry Me A River' a few years ago. It was incredible. She's got a really great voice."
To prepare for the role, Robin has been doing impression of the 48-year-old singing sensation for his friends, even putting on a thick Scottish accent.
Robin is not Susan's only celebrity fan. Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Hugh Jackman and David Hasslehoof have also expressed their admiration of her talents.
Susan shot to fame when she performed a pitch-perfect rendition of 'I Dreamed A Dream' from 'Les Miserables' in the Glasgow auditions of the ITV talent quest earlier this year.
But despite her international recognition, Susan was beaten by dance troupe Diversity in the final of the contest.
