The world’s biggest travel site Traveladvisor provides tips for the late booker on where you can get the best deals in July and August!
Top tips for late-bookers:
- In a lot of destinations abroad whether your preference is the beach, the city or domestic the week of August 24th still has the most availability than any other week of the year, which falls right on the bank holiday (26th), so you can extend your weekend to a week or two if you still haven’t yet picked where to go!
- If lazing on a beach is your thing then you are best to book early or have everything ready to be able to go with little notice, as availability is at its greatest during July and August.
- The opposite can be said of those wanting a citycation as most cities are booked up over the months of July, however August appears to be less busy, so the best advice is to book as far in advance as possible.
- Those who have opted for a ‘staycation’ this year need to avoid the week of the 3rd August as this has the least availability this summer.
