Alton Towers decided to play with the public's mind
Alton Towers Resort put the bravery of the British public to the test ahead of the opening of The Sanctuary – it's most disturbing scare maze ever to come to Scarefest 2012. People were stopped by a group of sinister medics, whose bedside manner was anything but comforting, and were recruited to undergo a 'fear test' in an attempt to find out what we're most scared of.
The findings will be analysed and incorporated within the new scare maze and also within the new world first rollercoaster, due to open at Alton Towers in March 2013.
