What is it:
If you’re staying or visiting the English capital this summer, Gogo London, is the one-stop travel info app giving you the lowdown on everything that’s worth knowing, across culture, shopping, dining, and partying in the vibrant city.
GoGo London is the essential edit of 400+ of the hottest spots to eat, drink, shop, sleep and hangout in London. From not-to-be-missed pop-ups such as Opening Ceremony in Covent Garden to Noma at Claridges, GoGo London is the must-have guide for fashionista’s, foodies and culture-seekers.
We love:
The app gives you up-to-the-minute insights on the coolest hangouts, openings, art shows and gigs around town. Information is trustworthy especially as it’s produced by a local team that has a special focus providing an exclusive insight into emerging local designers, independent boutiques, small neighbourhood bars and fresh new restaurants that no other guide knows about yet.
The team:
Each GoGo city guide has a team of ‘Insiders’ who reveal their favourite spots. London Insiders include Mandi Lennard (cult publicist and fashion consultant), Francesca Gavin (art writer and curator), Dale Berning (artist and writer), T.E.E.D (music producer and performer) and the TwoTone ladies, Emily and Shakira.
Downfall:
The app is only available on the iPhone, however, printed versions of e GoGo city guides can also be purchased – it’s a constantly updated guide with info on locations as they open and close around the city.
Verdict:
GoGo London gets a travel-tastic 4/5 for its cool look and stream of up-to-date information.
GoGo city guides also offers the same type of app for other cities such as Paris, too.
