Ever since I watched Jonathan Creek as a teenager (and bought myself the dvd box set in last year's January sales) I have always wanted to live in a windmill….
Whilst I know that's probably never going to happen, I have now set my sights on saving up for this whole year and treating myself to a windmill holiday in 2012.… so over the next week or two, I'm going to share with you my favourite windmills on the web.
The Windmill B&B
The Windmill Bed and Breakfast is situated just a short walk from the town centre, station and the Stephen Joseph Theatre.
Set in a quiet cul-de-sac, with some free onsite parking, The Windmill is Scarborough's last remaining windmill and remains an unusual and unique place to stay.
The dining room is on the ground floor in The Windmill where breakfast is served. You can boost your energy levels by choosing from our varied menu, all freshly prepared, whether you are a vegetarian, like Oak Smoked North Yorkshire Kippers, a full English Breakfast or just want something in between.
