The Jumeirah Carlton Tower embodies the British through and through in its style and exceptional quality.
Located on Sloane Street, in Knightsbridge, this hotel has the reputation as being one of the best places to stay in London. It is close to Hyde Park and Sloane Street’s boutique shopping experience; Harrods and Harvey Nichols are all within walking distance.
From the Royal suites to the Executive suites; both have breath-taking views of the London skyline.
When we arrived we were greeted by nothing but helpful and friendly staff, it was as if they were welcoming back an old friend despite it being our first trip to the hotel. The check in was fast and accurate.
The room boasted a 2x HD plasma TV's linked to the internet, a desk, seating area, dining area, a large bed dressed all in white and a coffee table. The wooden accents, neutral tones and chrome and glass topped furniture gave the suite a modern and spacious feel, despite having areas in all corners of the room that catered for our every need.
The bathroom could only be likened to having your own private spa; it was huge with a selection of top range products to indulge in.
If you are staying overnight I would wholly recommend not leaving the hotel but dining in The Rib Room Bar and Restaurant. This has been awarded three AA Rosettes- complimenting both old and new in its décor.
The walls boast a range of stunning artwork, including the latest edition The Rib Room Today, which captures a moment in time while dining in the restaurant.
The Head Chef is Ian Rudge and his menu encapsulates the best if British cuisine, using only fresh seasonal produce. There are also over 450 wines and champagnes that are on offer to accompany your meal.
Despite its name, they were still able to cater for a vegetarian and my meal was simply beautiful. All of our food was cooked exactly to our requirements.

We did not have chance to sample The Peak Health Club and Spa, but there is the opportunity to embrace one of the relaxing spa treatments, play against the golf simulator or have a workout at the gym.
Overall, this was one of the best experiences I have ever had in a hotel.
The service, standards and helpfulness of the people there could not have been better.
Standards of the menu ensured all tastes could be catered for and all delivered with a 'nothing was too much trouble' attitude.
It's possible, this hotel exceeded its reputation for quality and first class standards in my opinion.
Perfect for that luxurious stay that you have been yearning for on a special occasion or for those on business- this hotel is not one to be missed in a lifetime- whatever your reason for travelling to London.
