With our growing love for all things zombie, from The Walking Dead to Warm Bodies, it is no surprise that with each passing day Farmaggedon increases in popularity.
Opening just a few weeks a year, this spooky farm in Ormskirk is a sell-out each year and is guaranteed to offer you your most spine-chilling Halloween yet. This real life farm is split in to three sections, each with a gruesome name, preparing you for what is to come. Brace yourself and enter the three separate houses; the Psychosis, Terror on the Farm and Insanity. From the word “GO!” you will be screaming and running for your life.
Farmaggedon gives you the sense that you have walked into a real life horror film and it no longer feels like you are surrounded by actors but instead by people who want to kill you in brutal ways. This is not for the faint-hearted!
You will be greeted by torture chambers, mental assignments and crazy clowns who will chase you down in a bid to kill you. This farm will get your heart thumping and your pulse raising.
The farm was rewarded with the Lancashire Tourism Award 2012 – 2013 for Best Visitors Experience and the attraction has continued to be a success with visitors. With top makeup artistes and realistic settings, you almost forget that you’re not moments from your death.
Tickets sell fast and in advance so if you don’t want to be disappointed, it is best to buy tickets long before you plan to visit.
