Shopping 
Take a stroll down Prnices Street that serves to all your hightstreet needs whilst taking in the scenery of Edinburgh. For a more tourist feel, visit the Old Town where you can buy souvenirs for loved ones and buy your own tarten and kilt.

Eat and Drink
As well as small cafes and restaurants scattered around the city, there are many famous and popular resaurants such as Pizza Hut, Nando's and Bella Italia. Or why not stop in one of the many pubs and restaurants in the city centre that offers haggis, to get the true Scottish meal.

Whilst in Edinburgh, why not stop off at one of the famous pubs and enjoy some Scottish whisky? And to get the true whisky experience, take a visit to 'The Scotch Whisky Experience' where visitors will enjoy a barrel ride through the production of Scotch Whisky, an introduction to the aroma of Whisy and will even get to taste a dram of whisky.

Where to stay
Hotels can be expensive at peak times of the year although there are many hotels around the city centre that offer reasonable prices. Premier Inn and Holiday Inn offer comfortable rooms although for a cheaper alternative, Sonas Guest House offers a B&B for a sensible price
