Atlantis, The Palm has scheduled to expand their existing waterpark with Aquaventure in August 2013. This new park will include some world firsts in attractions, such as the world’s largest diameter slide, the world’s first vertical family ride and the first double slide within a slide experience, which allows friends and family to see their fellow visitors in action, riding above them.
The new park will have the longest zip line in the Middle East and the first to have slides high above the waterpark so riders can soak up the views of the resort and The Palm.
The main attraction will be The Tower of Poseidon which will be the longest ride in the Middle East, at 40 meters high and 2.3 kilometres in length. The river will have tidal waves and pools, water rapids and white chargers completed with 700 meters of golden beaches that overlook The Palm.
To accompany the new waterpark opening The Palm will have a new menu and still remains the only waterpark in the area to offer Ray feeding, Shark Scuba Diving, Shark Safaris and Dolphin Encounters.
