Now in its fifteenth year, Graspop Metal this year promises four stages and 75 bands throughout the course of the three-day festival. The festival annually attracts some of the best-known names in rock and metal, with this year’s headliners announced as Aerosmith, Kiss, Slash and Motorhead.

CACTUS FESTIVAL, BELGIUM

This years line up includes Tori Amos, Macy Gray, Elvis Costello and the Sugarcanes amongst others.

DANCE VALLEY FESTIVAL, HOLLAND

Also known as the “Woodstock of Dance,” Dance Valley is the biggest open-air dance music festival in Holland and is a must-visit for any serious UK dance fans. The festivals caters for all kinds of dance music, including trance and experimental and attracts 50,000 visitors each year. This year’s line up includes Booka Shade, Goldfish, Armin van Buuren and Rank 1.

PUKKLEPOP, BELGIUM

Now in its 25th year, Pukklepop is one of Belgium’s most popular music festivals. This year’s headliners include Snow Patrol, Prodigy, Placebo, Iron Maiden and Queens of the Stone Age, along with over 120 other rock, punk, dance and pop acts performing across eight stages. Last years festival attracted over 180,000 festival-goers, with even bigger numbers expected for 2010.

Located in the Kempische Steenweg region, Sunparks Kempense Meren village is just a forty-minute drive from the festival gates. Onsite, there is an ‘aquafun’ swimming complex, as well as a wellness centre with saunas, Jacuzzis and Turkish baths.
