Head to Essex for a night out with the TOWIE lot

It’s very easy to get bored of going out each weekend. The places are the same, the music sounds the same and it’s the same drunken person falling over in the corner and throwing-up all over themselves. Classy.

If you're after a change of scenery and some new exciting bars to trial, take the train or a car and head to another town or city for something a little bit different.

With some of the best nightlife up and down the country, you can tailor the trip exactly for your needs, whether you want a few nice bars or an outlandish array of clubs to choose from.

There is plently of accomodation needs to choose from, whether there is just the two of you or a whole group, you can find something that I'm certain that will suit your prefered choice.

Here are just a few of the top picks from up and down country:

Newcastle

The furthest up North out of our picks, the welcoming Geordie atmosphere coupled with their laidback attitude means this a great night out, especially if you're in a big group - as this manages to draw a lot of attention from the opposite sex.

The Gate is the place to be when the British weather fails us once again. Under one roof there are a number of different bars to choose from and once you come out there are plenty of clubs to end the night in.

Liverpool

Liverpool has one of the most-widespread nightlife, with a place to suit each individual's tastes. Whether you stumble up Matthew Street, take a wonder round Concert Square or glide so eloquently along the Albert Dock, you will soon find a place that you can easily call home.

The Albert Dock hosts the trendiest bar where the rich and famous can often be spotted. Make sure you dress to look the part as this is the place where the most effort and spending goes on. It's also only a stones throw away from Liverpool One, which hosts a number of exclusive bars, including Jamie Carragher's new one.

Matthew Street is the place to be if you fancy a throw-back night and enjoy the classics from the 70s and 80s. The place to go if you fancy dressing up on your night out.

Manchester

Again, a number of different areas for your to discover, but maybe not all in the one night. Manchester can be quite widespread, so it's best to choose a location before you head off into the night, otherwise this could result in a lot of money being spent on taxi fare, to chauffeur you from one place to the next. The Printworks, Deansgate Locks and Castlefield are just some of the choices, with pros and cons for each of themm.

A huge plus of the Printworks is that all the places are under the one roof, like The Gate in Newcastle, so ladies if it's raining this is the best place to be to ensure your hair stays picture perfect all night long.

Leeds

Quite arguably the best place to go, if you want everything in the one place. Two parrell streets filled with bars, where you can stumble from one to the other, never having to go thirsty or be too far from the next toilet. What more can you ask for on a night out?!

Call Lane is a popular place in Leeds, for a wide mixture of bars with different people in each, not the same crowd as you leave one and enter another.

It's quite easy to pick your favourite from this row instantly, but stick it out and try a drink in them all.

Essex

Since the hit TV show, The Only Way is Essex. This is the place to be seen and to be spotting the cast. Even if you're not a fan of the show, don't let this deter you, as there are plenty of places in Essex to choose from where you won't here the words: 'vajazzled' and 'well jeal'. Just steer clear of Sugar Hut, Kirk Norcross's club and Deuces, Mark Wright's club which he co-owns with Jack Tweed, if you don't want to be mixing with the cast.

Make sure you dress up for a night out in Essex and I'd start applying the fake-tan now, if you'd like to fit in with the crowd. Multiple pairs of eyelashes are also a must.

For any of these breaks, you can find different accomodation to suit your needs: whether you're after a cheap bed and breakfast, a hotel based right in the city centre or something a little more expensive, like an apartment to share. Great for the pre-drinks and a glamourous setting for the pictures of the night.
