The hotel has announced details of its sparkling new Christmas and Hogmanay offering, which includes a wide range of Christmas parties, celebratory meals and festive breaks to choose from.
Edinburgh will be a true winter wonderland from 25 November, when the capital’s Christmas celebrations officially launch. The city will be fizzing with festive spirit, with a traditional German Christmas market where visitors can sample a mouthwatering range of warming food and drink, an outdoor ice rink, Reindeer Garden, carol concerts and the Edinburgh Wheel.
There will also be a Santa Run – Edinburgh’s attempt to break the record for the largest gathering of Santas running for charity. All this can be enjoyed against the dramatic backdrop of Edinburgh Castle – fantastic views of which can be enjoyed from the Sheraton Grand.
Edinburgh is of course also world-renowned for its four-day Hogmanay celebrations – said to be the biggest and best New Year street party in the world.
