You're not lusting after tan lines this summer, you don't want to relax and you don't want your holiday to be about 'having a laugh'. You want romance.
Seventy per cent of Brits are looking for love this summer. Romance is this season's 'must-have' item, according to reasearch from social dating community Zoosk.co.uk.
Men also admit that their holiday simply isn't worth having, if they don't have a romance involved. They'll have to work hard to attract the ladies though, as 35 per cent of women try to avoid summer loving.
"Being on holiday, in a new environment, away from home often brings confidence and encourages people to get to know each other," says relationship expert, Jenni Trent Hughes.
"Interestingly the Zoosk summertime survey shows that Brits are keen to commit to a long-distance relationship if they think the holiday romance will go the distance, which shows the value we place on having a partner in our lives.
Fifty-seven per cent of people say that they would date a holiday crush long distance.
Jenni continues: "With long-distance post-holiday romances and online dating matches on the increase the results clearly demonstrate that Brits are moving away from the traditional to find that special person."
