Enjoy the Frankfurt Christmas Market in Birmingham this year

It's the most wonderful time of year... Well, according to the song. Money, gifts and stress however seem to overtake at this time of the year.

But, it's time that we remember just what this season is all about, spending time with family and friends. A great way to enjoy the spirit is to attend a Christmas market, where you can wonder round the stalls, taste and see the different cultures and maybe even pick up some unique gifts that people will cherish forever.

Crowne Plaza are getting ready for the Marlow Christmas Market on Saturday November 26 from 10am till 4pm. Local schools will be taking part in the event with a Christmas card design competition. The Mayor of Marlow, Jocelyn Towns, will be there to present the winner with their prize.

Entrance is free to this event, and will be filled with stalls selling unusual and original gifts - everything from wine and cheese to cake and sweets. Small independent businesses will be there as well as some big hitters like John Lewis who will be promoting their Christmas Department.

The City Christmas Fair is held every year in aid of Wellbeing of Women, the charity that raises money to improve women’s health through Research, Training and Education. At the fair you can browse stalls, 56 of those spread across the beautiful rooms of Drapers Hall, filled with original luxury goods, fabulous foods and stocking fillers.

Sip some bubbly as you shop for exquisite Alexski ski gloves or that new party dress from Eve at Donna. Listen to Carols as you sample some products from Tom the Cheeseman or find a new ornament for your tree. One former Christmas shopper called it: “A wonderful fair with over 50 stalls set in the most beautiful hall. I bought nearly all my presents here last year.”

Entrance tickets cost £5 on the door or can be bought in advance online at £5 per ticket. Take advantage of our special 3 for 2 online offers for £10 pounds before November 25th.
