Twitter achieved record-breaking revenues for the last quarter of 2020.
The micro-blogging platform has announced that its revenue grew by an impressive 28 percent, reaching $1.29 billion (£930 million) for the quarter.
However, Twitter has come under fire over recent months, with the company's role in the US election proving to be a particular talking point.
The website eventually took to banning Donald Trump from the platform, following a string of divisive posts.
But Twitter boss Jack Dorsey has stressed that there's much more to the service than one issue or one individual.
He said: "We're a platform that is obviously much larger than any one topic or any one account."
In fact, Dorsey confirmed that 80 percent of Twitter's audience is outside the US.
He explained: "We have a global service. We are also not just dependent upon just news and politics being what drives Twitter."
Meanwhile, Twitter recently pledged to help fight racist abuse directed at soccer players on social media.
A number of players have been targeted by racists on platforms like Twitter and Instagram, and the micro-blogging platform insisted it's working to combat the problem.
In a statement, the company said: "Racist behaviour has no place on our service and when we identify accounts that violate any of the Twitter Rules, we take enforcement action.
"We have proactively engaged and continue to collaborate with our valued partners in football to identify ways to tackle this issue collectively and will continue to play our part in curbing this unacceptable behaviour - both online and offline."
