TikTok removed 380,000 videos and 1,300 accounts in the US for violating their hate speech policy.
As well as the removal of racist clips, they've wiped out hate groups and content that denied "violent tragedies" like the Holocaust or slavery.
TikTok cracking down on hate speech comes after a
a review by the Anti-Defamation League, which claimed this month that the app was being used by white supremacists and anti-Semitics to spread hateful content.
The ADL said in a statement: "Despite TikTok's efforts to moderate and/or remove extremist content via community guidelines that cover a wide range of problematic content, from hate speech to discussions of self-harm, a cursory review of the platform by ADL's Center on Extremism found that white supremacists and antisemites are using a range of methods on the platform to recruit new adherents and share hateful content."
It comes at a pressing time for TikTok, with Donald Trump hellbent on closing the firm down next month if it's not sold to a US company.
The President has, in fact, already signed executive orders targeting the Chinese video-sharing app and Tencent's WeChat, another Chinese app.
Trump's plan comes amid ongoing tension between the US and China.
