Jermaine Jenas has teamed up with Huawei for a series of workout videos inspired by the Watch GT 2 Pro.
The retired footballer and the tech giant are working together to keep the nation motivated during lockdown, and they're looking to harness the device with more than 100 fitness modes.
A new study by the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro, supported by sports psychologist Professor Andy Lane has revealed that mixing up your workout routine and trying something new will boost your motivation to keep going by almost 40% (39%).
This could range from following a HIIT workout to relaxing with yoga, or even trying something completely different like hula hooping.
Discussing the Mix It Up workout content, Jermaine said: "The current lockdown situation is undoubtedly difficult for many people.
"I’m a big believer in the benefits of exercise for mental health, and I’ve found that mixing up my workouts throughout the week helps keep me motivated and happy.
"From kicking a football around to practising yoga, there are lots of different exercises you can do indoors or outside, every little helps.
"I’ve been tracking my activity using the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro, which has lots of modes to track different workouts, as well as helping me monitor vital stats such as my blood oxygen level, breathing and heart rate.”
Anson Zhang - CEO Consumer Business Group, Huawei UK - added: “With so many finding that exercise improves their mental health, adding some variety into your routine could help provide that additional boost to keep moving during these uncertain times.
"With its advanced tracking capabilities and over 100 workout modes, the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is a fantastic tool to help people track their progress and feel good about themselves.”
The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is now available from the Huawei Store and other retailers at £229.99.
