After seeing the futuristic technology in Minority Report where Tom Cruise flicked videos, images and documents around a screen with simple hand gestures, we've all been hoping one day we'd see that as a reality. Well, turns out the future is now.
The Gest is a wearable device that will allow a user to control applications with simple hand movements. The device consists of 15 sensors which sit in the ring-like finger attachments which then connect to a central palm band.
The software that goes along with the device will let you build your own gestures to control your applications and programs. Every hand movement, shape and position has been thought of for you to assign to a specific command.
The Gest could also be used to type, but that will come down to your individual typing accuracy.
If the Kickstarter Campaign is successful, the Gest is expected to ship in November 2016. You can order one now for around £100.
