Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall have named their daughter Mia Grace.
The 32-year-old royal - the granddaughter of Britain's Queen Elizabeth - gave birth to her first child on Friday (17.01.14) at the Gloucester Royal Hospital in South West England and she and her spouse have now chosen a moniker for the baby.
English rugby player Mike took to Twitter to announce his child's name.
He wrote: "For everyone who has asked what our daughters name, it's Mia Grace Tindall. (sic)"
The tiny tot - who is the fourth great-grandchild for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh - weighed a healthy 7lbs 12oz and hundreds of messages of congratulations and well wishes were posted on Twitter after the happy news broke.
In response to the numerous congratulatory posts, Mike wrote: "Thanks so much for all your kind messages. Definitely the best day of my life today, so happy! The girls are both doing great! Big thanks to all involved at Gloucester Royal, they were fantastic!"
Zara, 32, announced her engagement to Mike, 35, in 2010 and the couple tied the knot a year later on July 30, 2011.
