Tinie Tempah thinks the British royal family gives the UK "more class".
The rapper Tinie Tempah has praised the royals which includes Princes William and Harry - as he believes the tradition and history they represent gives Britain an advantage over countries like America.
In an interview with the new issue of Tatler magazine, he explained: "I think it's amazing that we have a royal family. It gives us, as Brits, a sense of pride, a sense of tradition and culture. They are elegant and wear nice attire, which definitely influences British fashion. To see a prince or a queen turned out and well-groomed - it gives us an extra something that America doesn't necessarily have. We're a bit more proper.
"It is what makes Britain so desirable compared to the rest of the world. We have more class, more so than most places. Compared to emerging nations that are more wealthy than us, we still have way more class."
Tinie - who famously high-fived Prince William at the BAFTAs earlier this year - also spoke of the respect he has for the work the royals do for underprivileged children, especially the help Prince Charles provides through his Prince's Trust charity.
He said: "If you see what Prince Charles is doing with the Prince's Trust, with young kids in all the little boroughs around London, you can't knock the royals."
