A new report claims Queen Elizabeth does not eat shellfish while her husband Prince Philip enjoys a beer with his lunch.
The revelation was made as the Club des Chefs, which is made up of those who cook for heads of state and political leaders, met in London this week.
The queen's head chef Mark Flanagan told Rosaleen McBride, who is the chef for the Irish president, of his boss' aversion to shellfish but did not reveal whether she simply dislikes the taste or is allergic, the Times newspaper reports.
McBride also told the paper that she heard that Philip has been drinking a beer at lunchtime for many years.
It was previously claimed that the monarch enjoys a Dubonnet and gin every day before lunch, and also before bed.
Special K cereal, jam sandwiches and chocolate cake are some of the queen's favourite foods, according to her former personal chef.
Darren McGrady previously revealed her love for simple cuisine stating that she starts her day with a light breakfast of cereal followed by lunch, afternoon tea and a simple dinner.
Darjeeling tea is her non-alcoholic drink of choice.
