Britain's Queen Elizabeth received a chocolate Windsor Castle and enamelled beetles among dozens of gifts last year.
The 87-year-old monarch was given handfuls of traditional gifts, such as brooches and books, but also got some more unusual items, including enamelled beetles.
On Wednesday (15.01.14), Buckingham Palace released a list of the items given to the queen and other members of the royal family from charities, foreign dignitaries and businesses.
China plates, jewels, paperweights and framed pictures were among the usual gifts on the list - while others were more impressive and unexpected.
The High Commissioner for Bangladesh gave the monarch four enamelled Scarab beetles and she was also handed a portrait of the herself burned onto a tree trunk from Sri Lanka's president.
A mouth-watering chocolate model of Windsor Castle, complete with a chocolate carriage, was one of the more inventive presents, sent from the makers of Mars Bars, following her visit to the factory in Slough, Berkshire.
A few of the more expensive items included a pearl necklace, from the president of the United Arab Emirates, and a family photograph in a gold frame sat on top of an ostrich egg.
Princess Anne also received an art print of the her riding a moose, a garden gnome and a plastic angel.
The male members of the royal family received the more useful gifts, such as golf clubs, ties, socks and pens, and Prince Andrew was also given a gingerbread cathedral.
