Queen Elizabeth II wants an "enthusiastic" new housekeeper.
The 87 -year-old monarch is on the hunt for a new assistant to carry out a number of chores around the royal residences including cleaning silver, arranging the dry cleaning and bringing breakfast in bed to guests.
The live-in-role, which pays 14,400 a year, is mainly based in Buckingham Palace but also requires work across other royal residences.
It is a full-time role for 40 hours a week, but applicants must be prepared to work to an unsociable timetable as the successful candidate should be on call to work some weekends.
The seemingly endless list of chores becomes even more obscure, as cleaning duties include looking after the furnishings and art inside the Palace such as antique furnishings, upholstery, curtains and picture frames.
Only the best candidate will do for the Queen as prospective housekeeping assistants must be punctual, reliable, approachable and meticulous, with previous experience within the hospitality industry.
The housekeeping role comes after the palace advertised a role for a pot-washer earlier this month and last year a 'Royal Horological Conservator' was recruited to keep an eye on her Majesty's clocks.
The successful candidate was to be offered a salary of £31,200 and was responsible for keeping more than 1,000 clocks in good condition.
