Queen Elizabeth hosted a drinks party with close family and friends in London.
It may have been a busy year for the monarch with all the celebrations for her 90th birthday but she showed one more party didn't hurt as she held a private drinks reception at Drapers' Hall in England's capital.
It was a final chance for the Queen and her husband Prince Philip to meet with their close family - including Princess Anne and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence - before they head to their Scottish country estate of Balmoral for the summer.
Other attendees at the event included Lady Gabriella Windsor and Lord Freddie Windsor, who are the children of the Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, as well as family friend and MP Sir Nicholas Soames.
Some of the Queen's closest aides including Sir Alan Reid, Keeper of the Privy Purse, her lady-in-waiting Lady Susan Hussey and her Private Secretary Sir Christopher Geidt were also on the guest list.
Princess Eugenie made an appearance, looking glamorous in a white and blue floral printed dress, which she teamed with an unusual pair of baby pink high heels.
Balmoral Castle is thought to be the Queen's favourite residence and she has reportedly been spending more time there to give her "sufficient downtime".
A source said previously: "It's a question of managing her energy to give her sufficient downtime, whether that be more time at Balmoral or making sure that her weekend starts earlier on a Thursday so her time at Windsor is longer. It's not about her doing less, it's about what she does being done differently."
