Britain's Queen Elizabeth throws chef-prepared scones on the floor for her dogs to eat.
Princess Diana's former butler Paul Burrell - who served the royal family for more than 10 years - has revealed the monarch feeds her precious pooches with the freshly-prepared baked goods every day instead of eating them herself.
Speaking on tomorrow night's (17.09.13) episode of TLC's 'Superstars and Superfans', he says: "The poor royal pastry chef, he spends all day making these scones and they get fed to the corgis under the table!
"The queen never eats the scones, the corgis eat them."
Despite throwing the daily baked cakes on the floor, the queen always insists her own favourite lunchtime treat, cheese and tomato sandwiches, is prepared with particular caution.
He said: "I don't think it's betraying any state secrets to tell you that the queen loves cheese and tomato sandwiches on granary bread and cucumber sandwiches on white bread."
But he warned: "Don't make the social faux pas and get the breads mixed up!"
'Superstars and Superfans' airs tomorrow night (17.09.13) at 10pm on TLC.
