Prince and Princess Michael of Kent

Britain's Princess Michael of Kent told her son to keep an eye on Ashton Kutcher when her daughter-in-law was cast in 'Two and a Half Men'.

The 68-year-old royal admits she was concerned the 35-year-old actor might try it on with Sophie Winkleman, who is married to her and Prince Michael of Kent's son Lord Frederick Windsor, when she landed a part in the comedy as Zoey, so she sent him down to the set.

She said: "When she got the role in 'Two and a Half Men' with Ashton Kutcher I saw his picture and I said, 'Freddie, you'd better go down to that first recording - he is a very handsome fellow. You go along and keep an eye on him.'

"But Freddie just laughed; he and Sophie are not only very attracted to each other as a couple, they have a true meeting of minds as well.

"Sophie is heaven on earth. So clever, she got a brilliant degree from Cambridge, and is so funny. It's not often that beautiful girls are also very funny - I mean, ugly girls have to be funny - and we are just in howls of laughter the whole time."

While the princess was cautious about Ashton, she is also very wary of foxes and admits she often shouts "tally ho" at the animals when she sees them at Kensington Palace because she "unashamedly hates" the sly creates after they savaged her collection of prized bantam hens.

Speaking to the Mail on Sunday's You magazine, she added: "I sometimes see them sitting on the drive and I shout, 'tally ho!' very loudly. But they pay me no attention."
