Norway's Crown Princess Mette-Marit and her husband Prince Haakon's dog is pregnant.
The royal couple have announced the family's beloved mutt Milly Kakao is going to have puppies and the whole family - which includes their children, Ingrid Alexandra, nine, Sverre Magnus, seven, and 16-year-old Marius Borg Hoiby, the princess' child from a previous marriage - is thrilled about the news.
Labradoodle Milly is expecting at least nine puppies and it seems her owners approve of her canine suitor.
In Facebook posting, the royal family revealed: "The father of the puppies is an exceptionally handsome and elegant gentleman named Snorri."
The pregnant pooch is due to give birth on June 14 and according to her owners she has been coping well throughout the pregnancy but has been sleeping more.
Mette-Marit has admitted she is getting pre-birth nerves and has been busy preparing for the arrival of the tiny dogs.
In a post on her Twitter page, she said: "Not much time to slow down this week with 9 puppies plus on their way!!!"
