The 27-year-old royal - who is the daughter of Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, and his former partner Sarah, the Duchess of York - has helped to raise the whopping figure after she recently attended the Charge II gala and boxing event, which took place at London's Royal Horticultural Society Halls, to help raise awareness about elephant and rhinoceros poaching across Africa, Hello! Online has reported.

Eugenie - who is a committed member for the organisation - was accompanied by other celebrity guests on the evening, including ex-footballer Jamie Redknapp, as well as fellow sportsmen Wladimir Klitschko and Chris Eubank Junior.

During the event, which also supported five other charities, including Conservation Lower Zambezi, Peace Parks Foundation, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, George Adamson Preservation Trust & Wilderness Foundation, a charity auction went ahead, which saw Klitschko's robe sell for £160,000.

And those who attended the event also enjoyed an extravagant meal, which consisted of ginger poached lobster, a lamb dish, followed by a mouth-watering chocolate dessert.

This bash comes shortly after Eugenie visited the teenager cancer unit at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool with her 58-year-old mother.

And during her visit, Eugenie praised the medical experts at the centre who have worked with those battling the disease, and to listen to the stories of the cancer sufferers.

Speaking at the time, she said: "I think it's so important to come here and learn. To come and experience that from as a teenager, when I was 18, but also to hear all the amazing things these units have done for teenagers and for the way you have outlook on your diagnoses."
