Princess Eugenie

Britain's Princess Eugenie has landed a new job - working for Queen Elizabeth.

The 23-year-old brunette is set to spend several months as a paid intern for the Royal Collection - the art collection of the British royal family, and one of the most important in the world - in order to further her art career.

A source said: "You don't expect to see a member of the royal family sitting down at lunchtime having queued up with hundreds of others but Eugenie is doing just that.

"She's very friendly and approachable and people at the Royal Collection say she knows her subject well."

Eugenie's grandmother approves of her position and his keen for her granddaughter to expand her knowledge of the industry as much as possible.

Another royal insider added to the Sunday Express newspaper: "She could hardly be in a better place to learn about great art works at first hand and to increase her knowledge, which will help her in her career.

"The queen thinks it's a good idea for her to work there and learn as much as possible."

Last year, Eugenie - who gained a degree in history and English literature at Newcastle University, north east England - worked for the queen's nephew Viscount Linley at London auctioneers Christie's.
