Britain's Princess Anne will open an equestrian centre in the Isle of Man today (21.01.14).
The 63-year-old royal has a number of official engagements to carry out during her trip to the island, including visiting the prison in Jurby and officially opening the doors to the Ballavartyn Equestrian Centre in Santon.
The princess will also spend time at the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture headquarters and visit the St German's Cathedral where she will be briefed on the Cathedral Development Campaign, which is expected to be completed by 2018.
Anne last visited the island in July 2008, but has been there on a number occasions for royal engagements dating back to the 1970s.
Meanwhile, the Princess Royal - who is the daughter of Queen Elizabeth - welcomed her third grandchild into the world last week after her daughter Zara Phillips gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
The tiny tot, who is yet to be named, was born at the Gloucester Royal Hospital and weighed 7lb 12oz.
Both mother and baby are said to be doing well and Zara's husband Mike Tindall - whom she married in 2011 - is besotted with his newborn daughter.
