Britain's Prince William is set to visit the Imperial War museum at Duxford today (09.07.15).
The 33-year-old prince - who was yesterday (08.07.15) seen sat alongside his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, at the Wimbledon tennis championships, where they watched home favourite Andy Murray - will accept a newly restored Spitfire as a permanent exhibit.
What's more, the future king will enjoy a short aerial display before he receives the World War Two fighter and tours the Battle of Britain exhibition.
The fighter plane is one of only two remaining models of its kind to have been fully restored.
Last month, meanwhile, Prince William took a Ryanair flight to Scotland.
He was seen boarding the budget flight at noon from Stansted to Glasgow, with just one bodyguard and wearing a pair of glasses.
William travelled to Scotland from his Norfolk home on June 22 as part of his training to fly with the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
Prior to that, William took a helicopter from Highgrove to Windsor - which is only 90 minutes by car - to attend an event marking the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta.
