Britain's Prince William has hired Crown Prince Haakon's former housekeeper.
The 32-year-old prince and his wife, 33-year-old Duchess Catherine, spent months searching for someone to run their Anmer Hall household and have now given a job to Sadie Rice, who previously worked for the Norwegian prince, his wife Princess Mette-Marit and their three children.
The single employee, 33, is believed to have already moved into the Norfolk residence and her duties will include preparing and cooking meals, taking care of the couple's wardrobe and helping out the nanny who cares for Prince George, 22 months, and Princess Charlotte, six weeks.
The original advertisement for the job vacancy also mentioned duties would include "cleaning all areas of the house to a high standard; caring for and maintaining the home owners' clothing; cleaning silverware and glassware; purchasing groceries and general provisions for the house; and dealing with deliveries."
Sussex-born Sadie previously worked at Buckingham Palace as a maid.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Everyone is glad to see Sadie back, she is very popular."
The Norwegian royals are said to be "sad" to lose their housekeeper.
