Britain's Prince William attended a wedding without Duchess Catherine at the weekend.
The Duke of Cambridge was joined by Prince Harry and Catherine's sister Pippa Middleton for the nuptials of Lady Laura Marsham and James Meade at St Nicholas Parish Church in Gayton, Norfolk, while the Duchess opted to stay at home to look after her eight-week-old son Prince George.
The 31-year-old royal arrived early at the ceremony to carry out his usher duties for his pal's big day, dressed in dark grey pinstriped trousers and a dark jacket, while Prince Harry and Pippa arrived later with other high-profile guests.
William and Catherine are close friends of the bride and groom and James even gave a speech at the couple's wedding in 2011.
Meanwhile, Duchess Catherine - who was known as Kate Middleton before she married William - carried out her first official royal engagement since the birth of George last Thursday (12.09.13) at the Tusk Trust awards ceremony in central London, which recognises outstanding figures in wildlife conservation.
The royal couple and their new born son are currently at the Queen's Balmoral estate in Scotland to introduce George to his great grandfather Philip for the first time.
