Prince Harry will visit Lancashire for a day of engagements on October 23.
The 33-year-old royal will travel up to the county in north west England next week to carry out a number of visits so that he can "explore" projects in the area that will go hand-in-hand with the work he does with veterans, conservation and sport.
Kensington Palace announced the news on its official Twitter account, writing: "Prince Harry will visit Lancashire for a day of engagements on 23 October.
"The visit will allow HRH to explore projects in areas that are priorities for his work: veterans, conservation and sport for social change
"HRH will first visit @VeteransUK_MOD in Norcross to mark the 25th anniversary of the Veterans UK Helpline Service
"HRH will then travel to St Michael's on Wyre, in follow up to his visit to the flood affected village in February 2016
"HRH will also visit @myplace2gr0w, a project which aims to empower young people by encouraging them to take action in environmental activity
"Finally HRH will visit @STFSDC and @LancsBombers, two organisations using power of sport as a means for social development and inclusion. (sic)"
As well as carrying out his duties, the flame-haired prince is said to be busy planning his proposal to his girlfriend Meghan Markle as the couple are planning to announce that they're taking their relationship to the next level following less than year of dating.
Despite the interest surrounding their relationship, Meghan, 36, claimed earlier this year that she hasn't been changed by the experience of dating a royal.
Speaking in September, the actress explained: "We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news, and I was working during that whole time, and the only thing that changed was people's perception.
"Nothing about me changed. I'm still the same person that I am, and I've never defined myself by my relationship."
