Royal impersonator Matthew Hicks found it "difficult" dating while pretending to be Britain's Prince Harry.
The lookalike, who stars on dating reality show 'I Wanna Marry Harry', admits he was unsure if the women on the show were truly interested in him or his title, and sympathises with the real Harry, 29, as it must be hard finding a genuine companion.
He told The Sun newspaper: "It must be so difficult for Harry. Even just doing this show, I didn't know if a girl was interested in me because she thought I was a prince or if she was doing it so she could be in the limelight.
"Even if she seems like the most normal cool girl, how do you ever really know?"
The American reality show sees 12 American women flown to a private estate in England to vie for the affections of the fake Prince Harry, who must do his best to stop them discovering his real identity.
Matt - an environmental consultant - dyed his hair red and undertook several classes in etiquette, horse riding and polo to pull off the feat.
He added: "The hardest bit was not giving myself away. If I made one mistake the whole thing could have been ruined."
