Britain's Prince Harry was reportedly inundated with phone calls and text messages from his "needy" ex-girlfriend Chelsea Davy.
A trial investigating the alleged phone-hacking of former News of the World journalist Clive Goodman heard how Chelsea flooded the 29-year-old royal with calls and messages while he was an officer-in-training at Sandhurst Military Academy.
In an email sent in August 2005, Goodman reportedly told editor Andy Coulson Chelsea was "blitzing him with dozens of calls" and "driving him nuts".
It's also claimed the blonde socialite was branded "incredibly needy" by the royal family, reports The Telegraph newspaper.
Goodman wrote in the email: "He's not allowed to use his mobile at Sandhurst until he's off duty but she's blitzing him with dozens of calls and texts when he should be concentrating on his training.
"Family likes her well enough but they're worried that she's incredibly needy, just at the time when Harry needs to be concentrating on himself."
Harry and Chelsea, 28, split up in 2010 and he is currently seeing Cressida Bonas.
