Britain's Prince Harry saw off 2013 in style by treating himself to a roast chicken and bacon hash.
The flame-haired royal dined with a group of his friends at The Crooked Billet pub in Stoke Row, Reading, south east England, on New Year's Eve (31.12.13), and opted for the meaty treat as one of his last meals of the year.
According to GetReading.co.uk, Harry wished all the staff at the establishment a happy new year before he departed after enjoying his hearty meal, which also consisted of confit onion and creamed leeks.
The 29-year-old royal has a well-known penchant for poultry and has previously enjoyed meals at the Nando's restaurant chain.
In October, one eagle-eyed onlooker spotted Harry in the chicken outlet's Fulham Broadway restaurant in west London, where he was collecting his £24.05 order to celebrate the England soccer side's qualification for the Brazil 2014 World Cup following their 2-0 win over Poland that night.
Harry waited more than 15 minutes for his order, which consisted of succulent chicken breast fillet in pitta bread with a lemon and herb marinade - the mildest flavor the Portuguese/Mozambiquan eatery offers.
The onlooker said: "It was surreal. He was very charming and politely refused a member of staff who approached him for a picture. I was gobsmacked to see him."
