A jewellery company has created adverts spoofing Britain's Prince Harry's rumoured proposal plans.

Posh Mayfair jewellers 77Diamonds.com hired lookalikes of the 29-year-old prince and his socialite girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, to promote their new royal-inspired 'Duchess' engagement rings.

Co-owner Tobias Kormind told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Of course if Miss Bonas was to marry Prince Harry, then she would become a Duchess, which would make our Duchess range all the more fitting.

"We hope that Prince Harry will take these photographs in the light-hearted manner in which they were intended and won't now feel too much pressure to get known on one knee."

The tongue-in-cheek photos see lookalike Harry popping the question to a willowy blonde in a sunny London park. The loved-up pair then take a romantic stroll around as Cressida shows off her ring, sharing a swing in a playground and cosying up on a swan-shaped pedalo.

Harry recently sparked speculation he was planning to propose to Cressida, 24, in a bid to settle down like his older brother Prince William, who welcomed his first child, Prince George, in July with his wife Catherine.

A source said: "Seeing Prince William and Kate [Middleton] get married and settle down has had a real effect on Harry. He's just seen how happy they are and he's realised that he wants that too.

"Cressida is very much up for getting more serious. They want to remain very much as they are - with a private life away from the cameras. For now they want to enjoy as much time together before the seriousness of their relationship becomes public with announcements."
