Prince Harry

Prince Harry

Britain's Prince William and Prince Harry became traders for the day to mark the 12th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center.

The royal brothers joined employees of the firm BGC Partners in London Docklands in sealing deals over the telephone to raise money in memory of the 658 members of staff who lost their lives during the attacks on the twin towers in Manhattan 12 years ago.

Prince Harry told traders his brother was preoccupied with "baby chat" before he turned to the Duke of Cambridge and said: "Stop flirting, get on with it."

The younger prince amazed staff as he used technical language and pulled a number of faces as he gripped the telephone.

BGC broker Nick Thompson, 45, from Otley, West Yorkshire, said: "He (Harry) was great. He's very laid back about it. He did very well.

"Prince Harry was far more confident; Prince William was too busy with the baby chat, rather than the numbers."

All profits from the course of the day are to be donated to charity.
